Our Programs Connect / CIR
Connects participants to various community programs and resources. Participating programs provide education and support in childbirth, newborn care, breastfeeding, child development, nutrition, family planning, help to quit smoking, infant safety, financial self- sufficiency, parenting and more.
Through health risk screening, CONNECT identifies clients’ needs and links families to the Home Visiting program that will best serve them. This coordinated intake and referral process ensures the best fit for families and streamlines access to services. This system improves program enrollment and retention rates, reduces duplications of efforts, and builds a broader early childhood system of care in Florida.
CONNECT helps pregnant women, caregivers, and families with young children by providing a single-entry point for needed services such as education and support in childbirth, newborn care, parenting, child development, food and nutrition, mental health, and financial self-sufficiency.
CONNECT helps link pregnant women and infants to the home visiting service that suits their needs and will benefit their families the most. FREE support will be provided over the phone to keep you and your family safe.
